This species climbs or sprawls to a length of 2 to 5 metres It has yellow flowers that are about 6 cm across and occur throughout the year. South-eastern New South Wales upwards to north-east Queensland. This species is commonly cultivated, and adapts to a wide range of growing conditions. This plant is growing among the dunes behind Lammermoor Beach.
