Two walking tracks depart from the northern side of the picnic area and follow the creek valley through mature exotic pines with heath understory, plentiful Byfield Grevillea (Grevillea Venusta) and Byfield fern. The Venusta Circuit walk is a quick 900m stroll while Stony Creek Circuit is a 4.3km return walk passing over Freeman’s Crossing.
