A panorama of Yeppoon Main Beach, Yeppoon Inlet and Fig Tree Creek

Yeppoon Inlet at the junction of Ross and Fig Tree Creeks still retains the charm of those small fishing and sailing ports that were once common on the coast. Sheltered and with easy access it's a favourite fishing spot for families and people who just like being in a lovely place with a line in the water.

Farnborough Beach is about 20 km. of beautiful clean sand extending from Yeppoon Main Beach to Corio Bay. A few hundred metres north of the Lifesaving Clubhouse there are BBQ facilities, toilets, parking and a childrens playground, these and the shallow water and clean bottom make it a great place for a day at the beach.
