Pumpkin Island is a 6.1 hectare privately owned island just off the southern tip of North Keppel Island, accomodation is in 5 comfortable and self-contained Queensland style cabins, transport to the island is by charter boat from Rosslyn Bay. The island is a perfect castaways paradise without noise or pollution and very few people, surrounded by coral reef it offers superb 'off the beach' snorkeling in crystal clear water, great fishing and the opportunity to completely relax with family or friends.
The beach in front of the cabins is clean with a gently shelving bottom and is sheltered from most winds, as with the other small beaches on the island even the inexperienced will find snorkeling easy and enjoyable.
The Rocky headlands, coral reefs, sheltered bays and surrounding open sea should provide plenty of entertainment for every level of fishing experience, you can also take a tinnie along to thoroughly enjoy what looks like a top fishing spot.
